It’s true and undeniable, Kigali is one of the cleanest cities in the world, our roads are pristine, vegetation manicured, and buildings spotless. This is something we as Rwandans take great pride in, but some say a little art could only add to our city’s beauty and personality. Enter Kurema Kureba Kwiga, an initiative that aims to fill Kigali’s blank walls with colour and life, all with a message. We went to check out their latest project in the making.
This video describes the work we are doing in Kigali Rwanda. We are two friends Petr and Steve running vocational training for people with physical impairment, finding them jobs and paying their children school fees. We are targeting mostly unemployed people who we meet on the streets. So far we are the only ones funding this project and we are hoping to receive help from others to be able to target even more people and help as many as possible. We will appreciate any financial help from you. You can send us an email or look into our website for more information.
